Our playroom is colourful with stimulating displays and low level mirrors. All the equipment is at low level to enable your baby to access our wide range of toys independently.

For the younger baby we have a selection of baby gyms and play mats to keep your baby occupied, stimulated and of course happy!

The ratio is one member of staff to three babies/infants. Our cosy baby unit caters for babies from 3 months to 2 years of age. We have capacity to care for 6 babies at any one time.

The Baby Unit is split in to 3 rooms, a sleeping and eating area, a playroom and a bathroom with changing facilities.

Our primary aim is to ensure that all babies receive love, plenty of cuddles, have all their basic needs met on demand (e.g. food, sleep and nappy changes) and feel secure. Secondly, we aim to provide babies with as much environmental stimulation as possible within that loving and comfortable framework. We will also try and meet the individual needs of your baby and keep as closely as we can to your home routine.

All this may sound a little complicated for babies, but remember that it is possible for a six month old child to play in water, sand and to make a mess with paint...and they love it!

We actively encourage some “induction” sessions for your baby, just speak to Gill to arrange.
