We recognise that choosing childcare is one of the hardest decisions to make, we endeavour to help you with this process where possible by offering you:
- Consultation with the Nursery Manager to fully understand both child and parent requirements, and to discuss any potential concerns that you may have.
- Tour of the nursery with an explanation of room actives and our approach to how we meet the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum as laid down by the Department of Skills and Education.
- An introduction to the staff and Key worker responsible for your child.
- Familiarisation sessions where you can stay at the nursery and assess for yourself how your child finds nursery life, before you make your decision. We do not charge for these sessions.
Please come for a visit to First Class Kids to see for yourselves what we do.
To arrange an appointment, please telephone Caroline Bowe or Gill Cubby, to arrange a mutually convenient time for your visit.
If after your visit you decide to choose our nursery for your baby/child, please fully complete the registration form and return it to us along with a cheque for £50, payable to "First Class Kids", to reserve your child's place, subject to availability. A deposit is not required for children only attending the free grant sessions.
This deposit will be deducted from your child's first month's fees when they start at the nursery. Your deposit is non-refundable in the event you subsequently decide not to send your child to our nursery.
After considering your childcare options we hope you decide to choose First Class Kids for your child's care and education. We know that we provide high quality childcare and education, and hope that after your visit, you will come to the same conclusion.
Partnership with Parents
Parents are always welcome in the Nursery, and we would encourage parents to express any concerns to a member of staff or the management Committee
Helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do.
The provision is good. Children are happy, relaxed and learning to be confident. Staff are actively involved with children throughout the day both indoors and outdoors. They are skilful in encouraging children's independence, for instance, when choosing activities and fetching resources needed. The good relationship fostered helps children to feel settled and participate well. |
